Women’s Auxillary
The Equest Women’s Auxiliary (WAUX) was founded in 1986 by Louise Griffeth with the purpose of supporting and promoting Equest. Today, it has more than 250 members and has raised more than $10M for Equest.
Each Fall, WAUX hosts its signature event, the Women’s Auxiliary Luncheon and Style Show, chaired by a prominent leader in the Dallas community.
In 2000, in honor of its founder who has championed the cause of Equest since its inception, WAUX created the Louise Griffeth Award for Community Service, recognizing an individual for their vision, commitment and leadership in the community.
It is easy to get involved with WAUX and help strengthen Equest. The membership dues for Women’s Auxiliary are:
General Membership: $50 annually
Patron Membership : $100 annually
Lifetime Membership: $1,000 one-time fee
Pegasus Club
Equest’s Pegasus Club is a monthly giving program that helps sustain the foundation of Equest so that our clients and their families can continue to count on us. As the story goes, wherever the mythical flying horse, Pegasus, touched ground, springs of inspiration were unleashed. Your gift is like the hoof of Pegasus touching ground every month to inspire hope, strength, and the joy of continuous impact at Equest.
